Michael and Denise Lieberknecht
Michael and Denise moved to Reno, NV in 2014 from San Diego, CA. They immediately fell in love with the people and community. They have two kids, Emery and Cason.
They met serving in youth ministry which became a wonderful season of ministry together for over 10 years. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in Christian Ministries with a minor in Biblical Literature as well as a Master’s from Bethel Seminary in Transformational Leadership. Denise has a Bachelor’s degree from Christian Heritage College in Biblical Studies.
Most recently, Michael served as Family and Missions Pastor and Denise as Women’s Pastor at Hope Community Church in Reno, NV. The dream to start a church in Carson City started to brew in 2018, only to become a reality in 2023.
Michael and Denise have a desire to see people all over Carson City embrace a fullness of life that comes only from Jesus.
